Are preserved flowers real flowers or plastic artificial flowers?

These are made from 100% natural fresh flowers—not plastic imitation flowers. We select high-quality fresh-cut roses, hydrangeas, and baby’s breath that are 70%–80% in bloom. They undergo a multi-step process—including dehydration, decolorization, eco-friendly glycerin replacement, and color-fixing and shaping—to fully preserve the soft elasticity and natural texture of the flower petals, resulting in a feel that is virtually identical to that of fresh flowers.

What is the difference between preserved flowers, dried flowers, and fresh flowers?

Fresh Flowers: Vibrant and fragrant, they last only 3–7 days and require daily water changes and care; Dried Flowers: Naturally air-dried, with petals that become hard, brittle, and prone to crumbling and fading; they remain displayable for about 1 year; Preserved flowers: Fresh flowers are chemically preserved to retain their softness; the petals are soft yet resilient. In a dry environment away from direct sunlight, they can be enjoyed for 3–5 years without needing watering or maintenance, and they do not cause pollen allergies.

How long do preserved flowers last? Is it true that they last 10 years, as advertised?

These premium preserved flowers meet industry standards and can be enjoyed for 3–5 years when kept indoors in a shaded, dry, and temperature-controlled environment; exposure to humidity or direct sunlight may shorten this lifespan to 1–2 years. There are no products that can be reliably preserved for 10 years; claims of a 10-year lifespan on the market are exaggerated. Please refer to our stated 3–5-year warranty as the standard.

Do preserved flowers have a scent?

Natural floral materials do not have a strong floral scent on their own, and the production process removes the flowers’ natural pollen and nectar. If you’d like to add fragrance, use an external air freshener; do not spray perfume directly onto the petals, as this will corrode them and cause discoloration and spots.

Are preserved flowers toxic? Is it safe to display them at home if there are children or pets?

We use food-grade, eco-friendly preservative solutions and water-based dyes. The finished product has no irritating odors and is harmless to the touch; however, we do not recommend that children or pets chew on or accidentally ingest it, as accidental ingestion may cause gastrointestinal discomfort. We recommend storing it out of reach to prevent contact.

Why are preserved flowers so much more expensive than fresh flowers?

1. High material wastage: Only 3 qualified preserved flowers can be produced from 10 fresh flowers; 2. Complex process: The entire process of dehydration, dyeing, and shaping takes 3–7 days, resulting in high labor costs; 3. Long lifespan: While fresh flowers wilt within a few days, preserved flowers can last for several years, resulting in an extremely low average daily cost of ownership; 4. Flower grading: We exclusively use Grade A flower heads, which feature thick petals that are less prone to breakage and retain color more stably, setting us apart from the cheap, thin-petaled Grade B/C flowers commonly found on the market.

Which is more durable: a bouquet in a glass vase or a bouquet without a vase?

The glass-covered, sealed version is dust- and moisture-resistant, offering a longer lifespan and making it ideal for the rainy season in southern China; bare flower arrangements have a natural, beautiful appearance but are prone to collecting dust and moisture, so they should be placed in a dry, well-ventilated area and regularly blown with cool air to remove dust.

Can I customize the colors, flowers, and the logo on the gift box? How long does customization take?

We support customization across all product categories: changing patterns, selecting complementary materials, hot stamping or screen printing brand logos on gift boxes, and adding personalized greeting cards. Standard small-batch custom orders ship within 7 days; for peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day and Christmas, please place your order 10–15 days in advance. For large-volume corporate gifts, expedited production schedules can be arranged upon request.

Can ship it? Will the petals get crushed during shipping?

We ship nationwide and internationally. Each product comes with a custom foam insert, a shock-resistant gift box, and an outer corrugated cardboard box reinforced with corrugated paper, with flower petals used for protection and stabilization. In the event of damage during shipping, we will replace parts or send a brand-new box free of charge upon presentation of photos taken upon unboxing.

Do preserved flowers need to be watered and exposed to sunlight?

No watering, fertilizing, or exposure to sunlight is required. The petals have been treated with a preservative solution; if they come into contact with water, they will immediately develop mold and become transparent; direct sunlight will cause them to fade rapidly, become brittle, and crack.

What should I do if my flowers get moldy or their petals turn transparent during the humid southern rainy season?

1. Slight moisture damage: Remove the glass cover, place the item in an air-conditioned, dehumidified room to air out for 2–3 days, then store it in an airtight container with a desiccant; 2. Severe mold growth or petals that have become transparent and cannot be restored are due to improper environmental care; in such cases, replacement flowers will be sent separately; 3. In a consistently humid environment, it is recommended to store the item in a sealed glass cover and replace the desiccant inside the box regularly.
